MIYDF came onboard as one of the organizers of the Malaysia India Singapore Youth Games at the 3K Sports Complexin Subang Jaya from Aug 26-28, 2011.
MIYDF Chairman Tan Sri S.A. Vigneswaran said the games were a platform for young sportsmen and sportswomen from India, Malaysia and Singapore to foster good ties in a sporting atmosphere
"There were about 300 participants. We are confident they made new friends during the games. The games gained support from other countries and they have expressed interest to be part of the event in the future,’’ said Vigneswaran.
Organising Chairman T. Mohan said countries like South Africa and Sri Lanka would be invited for next year’s games. The games have gained a lot of interest. We have been flooded with calls from neighbouring countries.
